If there’s one thing you should know about the Withers, it’s that we’re laid-back and full of love. Whether we’re packing up for a spontaneous road trip or navigating life’s curveballs, our family has always thrived on laughter, authenticity, and togetherness.
Traveling is one of our favorite pastimes, and road trips have become our thing. Some of our best memories are made during those long drives, where the conversations flow, the snacks disappear way too fast, and the family playlist keeps us singing the miles away. But recently, with Ross’s diagnosis of uveal melanoma, our journeys have shifted a bit. Now, some trips are just for momma and papa—times for us to connect and reflect.
Balance isn’t always easy, especially with four kids, Ross running the house, and my own career as a life coach. But we try to stay present in each moment. It’s our honesty, candidness, empathy, and strong communication that keep us grounded. Faith and hope guide us through the tough times, and humor is our secret weapon. Even when life gets hard, we lean on each other, show up authentically, and love our way through the adversity.
